Detachment 019 Alumni Association
Who We Are
The Detachment 019 Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that includes graduates from Alabama State University, Auburn University Montgomery, Troy University Montgomery, Huntingdon College, and Faulkner University who received a commission into the United States Air Force through Detachment 019. The alumni association also allows current Detachment 019 faculty and cadets an opportunity to join our organization.
Our Mission and Objectives
Enhance communication between the University and Alumni. Provide scholarships for detachment cadets. Provide an interface with the University’s administration to provide academic support and tutoring for our cadets. Establish and maintain a mentoring program to support the detachment in the professional development of cadets while in AFROTC and through their transition onto active duty. Increase the enrollment and retention of students and officer candidates who graduate as Commissioned Officers into the United States Air Force. Implement beautification program to help cadets instill pride in their detachment and attract new talent. Increase diversity talent pool to serve in the Air Force
