Becoming a member of the Detachment 019 Alumni Association provides a great opportunity to give back to an organization that was a major stepping stone for many Air Force officers. We provide alumni an opportunity to contribute to the betterment of both the detachment cadre and cadet corps through meaningful engagements.
Membership Qualifications
Membership is open to Alumni, friends of Alumni, and Detachment 019 Cadre. Voting members must also be current on annual dues unless otherwise determined by the Board.
Associate Members
Associate Membership is open to Detachment 019 300AS (and above) cadets, along with spouses, widows, or widowers of anyone eligible for Active Membership. Associate Membership may also be granted, by a majority vote of the Board, to anyone who is serving or has served as an officer in the Armed Forces of the United States and desires to support the purposes of the Association. Associate Members shall not have the right to vote or be elected to office.
Membership Contributions
The minimum annual commitment is $120.00 ($10.00 a month). The breakdown of payment is 20 percent to Alumni Association administrative costs, five percent to the ASU Foundation, 20 percent to Alumni Association Beautification Fund and 40 percent to the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Lifetime membership is an initial $1,000. Thereafter, minimum annual commitment is $50 per year. All contributions are tax deductible.
